Essence of Desert

The Lilly dress and bloomers and The Sabrina top and pants were created as part of the Level 2 collaborative collection 'Essence of Desert' for the Cornell Fashion Collective's 34th Annual Fashion Show. These pieces were inspired by both the plant life and textures of the desert biome. The top of the Lily dress was created with polyester taffeta that was hand-smocked with lotus flowers. The skirt was created from four layers of polyester chiffon. The Lily bloomers were created from polyester taffeta. The Sabrina top was created with hand-smocked lotus flowers and waved pin-tucks from two faced polyester taffeta, as well as two layers of polyester chiffon. The Sabrina pants were made with waved pintucks as the waistband and cuffs made from polyester chiffon, as well as 2 layers of polyester chiffon for the main body. Made Spring 2018
