Forever Sunshine
Forever Sunshine is inspired by friendships that never fail to infuse endless light, joy, and adventure into your everyday life. These friendships aren’t something you have to work at or force; they come naturally, are unending, and something you can’t imagine your life without. Taking inspiration from warm, relaxing vacations, along with summer and floral imagery, each piece exudes the warmth of a best friend’s love. This collection is in honor of Katherine Schlegel, my best friend who we lost earlier this year, who never failed to fill my life with adventure, laughter, craziness, and most importantly love. Pieces are made from cotton and silk. The abstract floral print featured in 4 of the outfits was created by naturally dying cotton and silk using dried marigold and cochineal. Created March 2019
