Free Form Revolution, or FFR, was a collaborative collection created as a final project for Product Development that required forming an activewear line by drawing inspiration from a designer’s collection. FFR drew inspiration from Thom Browne, while meeting the needs of our hip hop dancer target clientele. Dancers have not had functional and stylish apparel focused on their needs: Free Form Revolution has protective pads underneath intricate stitching to prevent injuries in knees and elbows. The FFR team created 1 full scale outfit, 3 half scale outfits, tech packs for each full scale garment, labeling and packaging, as well as market research. Traponto and free stitch embroidery were used on the jacket and pants. Materials included: Sweatshirt fleece, rib knit, and 4 way stretch polyester spandex blend. Created Spring 2018
