The Stephanie

This final project for Draping class was inspired by my family’s immigration story. I created the pattern by draping on a custom ½ scale form created from a body scan of my fit model. I created the texture in the colorful panels by sewing pin tucks in a diagonal diamond pattern. The fabrics are a solid black Nylon and a printed Rayon. Made in Spring 2017.
