The Lydia

The Lydia was created for the Level 1 collection Night Circus in the Cornell Fashion Collective's 33rd Annual Fashion Show. The texture of the skirt is created from gathered strips of fabric stitched in a serpentine pattern to the base fabric. I sewed the seams using French seams for a neat finish in the sheer fabric. I created the pattern by draping on a half scale form of my model, created from a 3D body scan. The fabric is a sheer polyester voile and a solid black Nylon. Created in Spring 2017.
